From CoMetta's Stories of Us: Greensboro's Deep Roots of Cooperation
Greensboro has a deep history of cooperative efforts that advance social justice and the greater good. These extend from our Quaker roots and the Underground Railroad to present-day efforts supporting refugees and nurturing community gardens, food coops, and people’s markets.
This video features CoMetta's Stories of Us gathering, where a series of speakers came together and discussed Greensboro’s cooperative movements and models.
Moving forward, we can all ask ourselves, how can we grow these efforts to create a more vibrant and caring community?
